PhD project title and a short abstract
The research path initiated focuses on observing changes in a group of students (Group A) who, through an action research system, will participate in a path based on artistic experiences both inside and ou tside the classroom, aimed at measuring the positive impact caused by the enjoyment of works of art on the individual starting from the analysis of the works, the production of artifacts and finally the direct enjoyment of works of art. For contrast, anoth er group of students (Group B) will be monitored as a control group and will serve as a comparison group. The experiment aims to promote awareness and acceptance of the "self" starting from the decoding of archetypes and stereotypes in all forms of art, fr om the origins to the present day. The second phase of the project will involve several Italian and European Museums where questionnaires will be administered to sample groups of students to reinforce the concept of well being derived from the enjoyment of works of art.
The objective of the research is to affirm that, through appropriate strategies and targeted educational interventions, it will be possible to obtain positive effects on the individual's well being in terms of:
- self esteem
- abandonment of ste reotypes
- annulment of body shaming and development of body positivity
By measuring the changes due to the proposed didactic approach during the verificat ion phase, we want to support its repeatability: starting from the same premises, the same requirements and the activities administered to Group A, by varying the group, the same results should be obtained.
