Starting from the XXX cycle, the Research Doctorate reserves scholarships for foreign students, regularly covered (1 from Spain, 1 from Iran).
Internationalization activities have been extensively developed within the International Doctorate Course in Experimental Oncology and Surgery starting from 2013 (e.g. the XXIX cycle presents at the end of the course 2 thesis in co-tutorship and issue of double degree with the University of Antwerpen and n.3 Doctor Europaeus) and these actions are progressively more and more intense, with the natural prospect of collaborations also of a scientific nature between research groups not only of the Department in question, but also - thanks to the PhD Course - of other UNIPA Departments with Belgium.
Internationalization activities were also started within the CLMOPD (starting from 2014 a contact person (Dr. Olga Di Fede) was appointed for the Erasmus + Program, finalizing the approval of 2 agreement with University of Valencia and of Munich).
In progress, new agreements with the University of Malta, Temple and Antwerp starting from the academic year 2017-18:
Finally, again in the context of CLMOPD, visiting students incoming (2 in traineeship), visiting students outcoming (4, of which 2 in traineeship) were carried out in 2016, with achievement for our n. 2 students of 46 credits (23 each).
