Le Dizionarietto degli scrittori francesi classici e moderni de Decio Cinti et l’enseignement du français en Italie durant le fascisme

Abstract

This article examines Decio Cinti ’s Dictionary of Modern and Classical French Writing in light of its relationship to the linguistic policy of fascism. The dictatorship has a significant impact on French language instruction, and, in consequence, the Dizionarietto expresses its originality by differentiating its selections from the anthological choices found in textbooks used in schools.
