Our Department aims to interpret the needs of our society and to transfer knowledge and culture to the local territory. We carry out consciousness-raising actions which involve continuing education, lifelong learning and open forms of teaching in line with our “Third Mission” actions in the field of Humanities. At the same time, we aim to increase our public engagement activities by maintaining a constant presence in initiatives already rooted in the territory (Una Marina di Libri, Settimana di Studi Danteschi, Sicilia Queer Filmfest,  Le vie dei tesori, National Day of Literature/Literature for schools, life skills).
