Sala Meeting, edificio 15, piano 3, ore 14-15 Ascolta
Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) refers to acts of physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, and coercive or controlling behaviours, perpetrated by a current or former partner. IPV is associated with significant physical and psychological problems. However, little is known about altered eating behaviors that are associated with the experience of IPV victimization and the mechanisms underlying this relationship. This qualitative study aims to explore the experiences and perspectives of IPV victims regarding their eating behaviors, their attitudes toward food, and how they perceive their experience of IPV affects these behaviors. The study is still ongoing and the protocol of the study will be presented.
