Erasmus - International Mobility
The Erasmus+ KA131-Individual Mobilities for Study Purposes programme is designed for students (including doctorates and post-graduates) who are registered regularly at the Università degli Studi di Palermo. Through this programme, students can spend from 3 to 12 months at a European or non European University which has a specific agreement with UNIPA. The programme allows students to attend courses, carry out exams and develop parts of their theses. It also enables students to discover new higher education systems, experience another culture abroad, learn a new language and meet young people from other countries.
The Erasmus+ student’s status guarantees:
exemption from tax payments in the host university;
the right to enjoy the same services the foreign university offers its own students;
academic recognition for the educational activities completed by the end of the mobility through the ECTS-European Credit Transfer System.
Students are also provided with bursaries to cover living costs.
Students can participate in multiple opportunities in the Erasmus+ programme as long as the months spent in mobility (both for Study and Traineeships) are not longer than 12 months for Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees and 24 months for One Cycle Master Degrees.
