Residenza Universitaria RUME (feminine) hosts Italian and foreign students and offers residential services (food, accommodation, laundry and ironing) and educational services (orientation, coaching and tutoring)aiming at the enhancement of merit and intercultural preparation. The admission takes place through an interview (also possible via skype) with cognitive and motivational purpose.
The structure has 32 places and annually it announces scholarships reserved to international students.
For the A.Y. 2018/19 has announced 2 free scholarships, with a minimum stay of 6 months, for the first 2 international students admitted (in chronological order) and subsidized fees for the following.

Rooms or apartment rentals –Support Service for Students
A front office has just been opened at Student’s offices in viale delle Scienze.
Students can apply to it, for free and without any additional charge, to search for rooms or apartments.
It will be open from Monday to Friday, from 9 to 13 and from 14 to 18

The company, which has signed an agreement with the University (at no cost to the University) will search for and select the offers by private individuals.
It will cure the organization and maintenance of all accommodations are deemed appropriate within a public consultation database on the site www.unipa.it (student services), will be responsible for tutoring users, assisting them in the choice of housing solutions that best fit their needs, accompanying them to visit accommodations, supporting them in the definition and signature of rent agreements.
English speaking professionals will provide assistance to students, graduate students and foreign researchers.
