The ISEE (Indicator of the Equivalent Economic Situation) is the tool used in Italy for assessing the family economic situation of those who request subsidized social benefits (eg. ERSU scholarship, reduced university tuition, etc.). The “ISEE università” is the specific indicator used in the field of the right to education (calculation of taxes, exemptions, services for the right to study).

To apply for the ISEE Parificato, after your arrival, you will need:

• a certification of your family status of 2023 (detailing the members of your family);
• a certification of your family’s income from the 1st of January 2021 till the 31st of December 2021;
• the balance of the bank account of every member of your family on the 31st of December 2021;
• a certification of the real estate properties of your family up to date for the year 2023.

These documents must be issued by a recognized institution in your country of origin and must be officially translated into Italian.
