The Zebrafish is considered as one of the most advanced technologically laboratory in the Mediterranean basin. The aquatic facility can preserve up to 15.000 adult fish and it consists of five independent multi-tank systems with automated water filtration and alternative photoperiod capability.
Services: Housing and care of larvae and adult zebrafish, Microinjection of embryos/larvae/adult fish with macromolecules (synthetic mRNAs, morpholino-substituted oligonucleotides, peptides, ecc.) or live cells, in vivo imaging analysis, pharma-toxicological screening with (optional) behavioural analysis, molecular biology analysis, training in the use of zebrafish as a model system for scientific purposes.
