Active research
The research group uses essentially the laboratories of the STEBICEF Department, which has laboratories for cultures of eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells, fluorescence microscopes, a confocal microscope, refrigerated centrifuges and ultracentrifuges, equipped with different types of rotors, sonicators , a laboratory equipped for the use of radioisotopes , micromanipulators, thermostatic baths, instruments for the amplification of nucleic acids , etc .
Services delivered under the right of third parties
In the last 5 years, the research group has been involved with searching cyplasin receptors on behalf of Cyplasin Biomedical Ltd (Prof. Petzelt). In general terms, the group has the know-how for applying biochemical and biomolecular methods.
