Daniele Scirè was born in Palermo, Italy, in 1991. He received the M.S. degrees in electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Technologies from the University of Palermo, Palermo, Italy, in 2017 an 2021 respectively.
From 2018 to 2019 he was a visiting PhD student with the Photovoltaic Material and Devices group, Delft University of Technology, Delft, the Netherlands. Since 2022 he has been an Assistant Professor with the University of Palermo, Palermo, Italy. His current research interests include power electronics converter and their control, nonlinear magnetic components, modelling and design of solar cells, thin film deposition and characterization.
Dr. Scirè was a recipient of the Graduate Student Award from the European Material Research Society in 2019 and of the Best Paper Award "Salvatore (Enzo) Piazza" from the department of Engineering of in University of Palermo in 2022. Dr. Scirè is reviewer for several journals and conferences.
