La municipalizzazione dei servizi pubblici nel Mezzogiorno. Il caso del gas a Salerno

Abstract

The research presented in this volume traces the process of municipalization of the gas service in Salerno starting from 1947, placing it within the broader context of Italian public policies from Unification to the present day. Through the analysis of a rich archival documentation, the motivations that led the municipal administration to undertake the path of establishing a public service company are reconstructed, as well as the modalities through which it was implemented, its economic and technical management, and its impact on users.
