I study the connections between man and his environment, and the way that foraging and survival strategies in the natural landscape can shape cultural processes and human institutions. With a multidisciplinary approach that connects cognitive and social sciences, I developed the Landscape Mind Theory, which hypothesizes that the human brain was shaped by the landscape in order to understand the landscape.
