Educazione alla cittadinanza digitale: un’indagine su approcci e atteggiamenti di docenti e studenti

Abstract

This work aims to contribute to the ongoing academic and institutional debate on the topic of digital citizenship education. The overall objective of the research is to provide an analytical framework of educational practices from the perspective of teachers and to design and evaluate new teaching approaches for enhancing students’ digital citizenship. Initially, we examined the perceptions of teachers and students regarding their digital skills with the aim of developing effective educational and training interventions for digital citizenship using a specifically constructed and validated tool. Subsequently, we investigated the methodologies and resources commonly used by teachers in implementing a digital citizenship education curriculum and the characteristics of an effective curriculum through a Systematic Review. Finally, we aimed to assess the perceptions of teachers and students who participated in the research regarding their acquired digital citizenship competencies through the proposed training program.
