Tuition Fees
NON-EU STUDENTS RESIDING ABROAD
Non-EU students residing abroad can choose to pay the tuition fee according to one of the following options.
OPTION 1: Fixed Fee Structure based on Country of Origin
There are three categories:
- List A: €206 fixed fee (including regional tax of €156 for the right to study)
- List B: €256 fixed fee (including regional tax of €156 for the right to study)
- Other students not listed: €356 fixed fee (including regional tax of €156 for the right to study)
OPTION 2: Tuition fee adjusted to the family’s economic situation (ISEE PARIFICATO)
COMPOSITION OF TUITION FEE
The tuition fee is composed of two parts:
1. Fixed Fee: €156 (€140 Regional Tax and €16 duty stamp);
2. Variable Fee: Amount calculated based on the student's declared income. To utilize this option, foreign students with a resident family abroad must provide certain financial documents (ISEE PARIFICATO):
- Family income from 01/2023 to 12/2023
- Family bank account statements until 31/12/2023, and personal bank account statements in Italy if applicable until 31/12/2023
- Family status of 2025 (number of members)
- Property papers of 2025

Italian Language Proficiency test In order to receive full approval on Universitaly and be admitted to finally enroll in a Bachelor's Degree course held in Italian Language, you must pass a Language Proficiency test. Please check the page Italian Proficiency Teststo know more. There are two possible dates to take the Italian Language Proficiency Test. Either 9 July, 2025 or 27 August, 2025. The students who have obtained certificates of proficiency in the Italian language with a grade not inferior to B2 level of the Council of Europe, awarded as determined by the CLIQ (Italian Quality Language Certification) quality system, which unites in one association the current certification bodies: (University for Foreigners of Perugia, University for Foreigners of Siena, Rome Tre University and the Dante Alighieri Society) and University for Foreigners “Dante Alighieri” of Reggio Calabria, as well as in convention with Italian Institutes of Culture abroad or other institutions. These certifications may be earned in the country of origin, in the approved exam centres found all over the world; The above-mentioned students are exempted from the Italian language test.
