Il Dottorato di ricerca è orientato alla ricerca negli SSD dei due curricula: 1 Economico-statistico e 2 Psicologia

Il dottorato di Ricerca prevederà una prima parte di attività didattiche comuni articolate prevalentemente nel primo anno e poi delle attività specifiche relative ai vari curricula.
La prima parte di attività comuni (circa 80 ore di attività didattica da svolgere prevalentemente al primo anno) è dedicata all'acquisizione delle nozioni di base delle varie aree e alla condivisione di un bagaglio comune di strumenti che possa favorire lo scambio interdisciplinare. Gli anni successivi sono dedicati all'acquisizione di conoscenze tecniche specifiche dei 2 diversi curricula con le diverse declinazioni e specializzazioni

Una parte delle attività didattiche comuni è dedicata alla formazione didattica interdisciplinare nel campo della gestione della ricerca e della conoscenza dei sistemi di ricerca ed alle conoscenze informatiche e linguistiche per un totale di circa 80 ore prevalentemente svolte nei primi due anni.
Ogni curriculum avrà quindi un massimo di 300 ore specifiche di attività didattica e seminariale (da svolgere essenzialmente fra la fine del primo anno ed il secondo anno e residualmente e solo per attività seminariali, al terzo anno)

- Un numero limitato di attività didattiche sarà mutuato dalle lauree magistrali prevalentemente per le ore di attività comune

Di norma lo studente trascorrerà all'estero un periodo compreso fra i 6 e i 12 mesi

The PhD program is oriented to the research in the scientific fields belonging to the two curricula:

1. economical-statistical
2. psychology

The first year of the PhD program will provide a first part of educational activities common to the two different macro areas while, in the remaining years, specific educational activities will be provided for the different curricula.

The first part of the common activities (about 80 hours of educational activities will be provided in the first year) is devoted to the learning of the basic notions which are commons to the three different macro areas. In the first year will be also provided a set of common knowledge useful for the interdisciplinary exchange. The remaining years are primarily devoted to the scientific knowledge specific for the three different curricula.

A part of the common educational activities is devoted to the teaching in the field of management of research, in the field of knowledge of research systems and, finally, in language skills. About 80 hours will be used for this part of the PhD program which will be carried out in the first two years.

Each curriculum will have a maximum of 300 hours of specific didactic and seminar activities. These activities will be carried out in the first and second year of the PhD program while the third year will be devoted only to seminar activities.

- A small number of educational activities, which will be a part of the common activities, will be borrowed from the Master's degrees.

Distribution of teaching hours according to the year and to the type of activity

Timetable

First year

January	first assignment of the supervisor;
July	definition of a research topic chosen by the PhD student with the agreement of the PhD board
October	definition of a research topic chosen by the PhD board; (at least one of the talks must be in English)
December	admission to the second year

Second year

 

April	definition of a research topic chosen by the teaching committee
September	- final assignment of the supervisor;  - first definition of the subject of the PhD dissertation
December	admission to the third year

Third year _{(this year is primarily devoted to the PhD dissertation)}

June	evaluation of the progress of the PhD dissertation;

The PhD student will spend a period of 6/12 months in an external academic institution
