Placement analysis
The Management Engineering Faculty (CdS) renews its graduate placement analysis at least every two years, and the data available on the CdS website clearly demonstrate a significant trend among graduates of the Bachelor's degree program in Engineering Management at the University of Palermo to pursue further studies with a Master's degree (less than 5% of Bachelor's graduates choose not to continue).
The CdS also pays attention to the post-graduate studies of its Bachelor's degree graduates and maintains contact with the professional world for various purposes. The primary objective is to establish a channel of communication with companies to introduce students to the working environments they will potentially enter. It also aims to facilitate students' engagement with the corporate world by promoting internships in companies. Lastly, the objective is to present students with the employment prospects available to those who complete their academic journey with a Master's degree in Engineering Management in Palermo.
The CdS also manages the submission of graduates' CVs to a database of companies operating in the fields of interest for Management Engineers with each graduation session.
Furthermore, all notices related to job opportunities for CdS students are published on the website, including those received by the Coordinator or faculty members through institutional channels and direct relationships with various companies.
In agreement with the Polytechnic School and the affiliated department, seminars, orientation days, and meetings with major companies operating in the typical areas of employment for Management Engineers (career days, open recruiting programs) are organized.
At the university level, students, especially those nearing the completion of their academic journey, have access to the placement service offered by the Career Guidance and Tutoring Center at the University of Palermo. Graduates also have the opportunity to access post-graduate internships according to the regulations in place at the university.
The CVs of new graduates are included in the ALMALAUREA database.
