The degree course titled “Business Law Consultant” is a three-year undergraduate course in law belonging to the group of “Sciences of Legal Services” (L-14). Students who have obtained the three-year degree in Business Law Consultant may continue their studies in order to obtain – after only two years – a Master’s Degree in Law. Lectures and examinations are held entirely in Trapani, where there is a branch of the University of Palermo.  

The Course aims at providing students with a thorough grounding in law which is supplemented with a knowledge of economics and business administration and some notions of managerial engineering. The course aims at creating experts in law who, thanks to this interdisciplinary education, will be able to facilitate in a modern and competitive way both the setting up of new enterprises and the management of those which are already in existence. The course also aims at fostering the economic growth of the surrounding area.

The most important questions dealt with in the lectures are the following:

• How to set up a firm? 
• How to draw up a business plan?
• What form is the most appropriate as regards tax law?
• How to conclude a contract of financing?
• How to conclude a contract of cross-border selling?
• When is outsourcing appropriate? 
• How is it possible for business people to improve their skills in negotiating?
