During the three-years of the course, doctoral students will attend lectures and seminars organized by the Teaching Board.
Seminars will take place in Palermo and/or at the associated institutions' sites.
The training activity will include:
- entry level, consisting of lectures and seminars, mainly held during the first year of the course, common to all disciplinary areas involved
- secondary level, the following two years, in which doctoral students will choose, among these disciplinary areas, those closest to their interests. They will be able to follow university courses related to their research path, for a total of 60 CFU (University Formative Credits)
During the three-year period, all doctoral students are required to:
- produce papers relating to didactic and seminar activities carried out. The papers will be evaluated by tutors and the doctoral Teaching Board as a whole
- take part in national and international call for papers and submit to the doctoral Teaching Board, at the end of each year, the time-sheet, the progess of thesis work and any possible scientific publication
- spend a period abroad (depending on the curriculum; even not-continuous and in different locations), particularly at the associated institutions' sites or at the institutions where the Teaching Board's members are based or, also, at other locations agreed with the tutor
