The account used for registering to the services of the UniPa Libraries’Catalogue enables you to: 

- Reserve books of the Library
- Renew loans online
- Ask for the loan of tablets and e-readers

Institutional credentials, used to access to the Students’, teachers’ and Staff’ portal, enable you to:

- Remotely consult databases, e-books and online scientific journals of the Library

- Access to the digital loan service of Library’s e-books

- Ask online for the document delivery service  through NILDE, to receive scientific articles or book chapters not owned by UniPaLibraries.

You don’t need to use access credentials to:

- Know if  a book, an e-book or a journal are available in the Library
- Download from AppStore and Google Play the app MyUnipa, and use the "Pocket Library" feature inside @Unipa menu.
- Receive assistance and advice via chat through the service "Chiedi al bibliotecario" (“Ask a librarian”), available on all pages of the Libraries'
