The doctoral courses in "Human Rights: Evolution, Protection and Limits," "Legal Pluralisms. Ancient and Current Perspectives," "Systems Dynamics," and "Ecological Transition," in collaboration with the Center for Sustainability and Ecological Transition and the master's program in "Law and Technique of Ecological Transition" at the University of Palermo, are organizing the Winter School entitled: Energy Transition and Fundamental Rights.

The Winter School will be dedicated to the theme of the protection of fundamental rights in the context of energy transition processes.

Interdisciplinarity and transversality of the scientific confrontation will be the two essential figures of the Winter School.
Thus, an ideal path will be traced that, through the constant recourse to a human rights based approach, will allow to essay the mutual interference between energy transition and the protection of rights, increasingly understood not as a mere negative limitation of public policies, but as a renewed and unequivocal moment of finalistic fallout of the entire development path.
