Master's Degree in Climate Change and Sustainable Development
The Center for Sustainability and Ecological Transition (CSTE) at the University of Palermo is promoting the Master's degree in "Climate Change and Sustainable Development." The educational objective of the master's degree is to provide interdisciplinary knowledge of the causes and impacts of climate change, as well as mitigation and resilience measures to mitigate its effects, taking advantage of the opportunities of ecological transition and the principles of sustainable development. The master's degree is aimed at training experienced professionals, in a number of between a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20, in these dynamics, which are now current, within private companies or public bodies, to plan or develop strategies in the medium term to cope with climate change in view of the sustainable development goals set by the 2030 Agenda. The call for applications for the Master's degree has a deadline of May 5, 2023, and the classroom activities, which involve an important part of CSTE's Scientific Council, as well as external experts, are expected to begin in June 2023.
