THE MACHINE OF THE WATER IN PALERMO INTRA-MOENIA - TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE RECOVERY OF TE CITY SCENE

Abstract

Lo studio tratta il recupero di un vuoto urbano nel centro storico di Palermo. L’ipotesi illustrata riguarda la progettazione di una “macchina dell’acqua” (un canale sulle tracce dell’antico fiume Kemonia) pensata per rappresentare e realizzare le istanze di una nuova società che intende costruire nuovi ambienti sottraendoli al degrado ed alla speculazione. Uno spazio per accogliere eventi effimeri, ma anche per comunicare la storia e la cultura della città.
