Abstract
The paper treats the elaboration system to obtain a thermogrammetry. The experimental method is useful to get a metric thermal image to be edited with the photogrammetric image of the architectural surfaces simultaneously. This way, the gotten graph can be imported in c.a.d. software as raster image and becomes the base to improve the design of the thematic maps that constitute the restoration project. The essay shows the editing practice to be developed in order to get the diagnosis supported by thermography on the architectural surfaces. Some application examples of the diagnostic methodology are introduced and critically commented to understand all the potentialities of the investigation in the discipline of the restoration and conservation of cultural heritage.
