Le genre est-il un paradoxe? La transgression générique dans « 53 jours » de Georges Perec

Abstract

The Oulipian genre is characterized by the transgression of the canonical hierarchy of genres, imposing a set of constraints and writing techniques as the principles for the organization of the literary space. This hybrid generic "form", designated with the neologism "Oulipogenre", which subverts the traditional notion of genre. The Oulipogenre establishes a horizon of kinetic suspension, depriving the reader of identification and decodification of the genre. Founded on interpretative instability, George Perec's «53 jours» necessitates the acceptance of destabilization, of the cognitive "aberration" of the text. Le « genre » oulipien se signale par la transgression de la hiérarchisation canonique et impose en tant que principes organisateurs la contrainte et les techniques d’écriture. Cette « forme » générique hybride qu’on appellera, par le recours à un néologisme, Oulipogenre bouleversant la notion traditionnelle de genre établit un horizon d’attente cinétique qui prive le lecteur des instruments de reconnaissance et de décryptage du genre. Fondée sur l’instabilité interprétative ainsi, la réception de « 53 jours » de Georges Perec, nécessite une prise de risque de la part du lecteur, une acceptation de la déstabilisation, de “l’aberration” cognitive produite par le texte.
