Abstract
In this work, we investigated a novel octagonal ringbar SWS designed to meet the demands for high output power and stable gain within the operating frequency range of 29 to 34 GHz. This research aims to analyze the performance and characteristics of the octagonal ring-bar SWS by comparing it to the dimensions and parameters of a previously studied ring-bar structure. Through this comparative analysis, we seek to examine the functional differences between the two configurations, focusing on aspects such as electromagnetic behavior, power handling capabilities, and overall efficiency. By bringing the octagonal ring-bar SWS back to the dimensions of the earlier ring-bar design, we can systematically evaluate how the geometric modifications influence the operational performance. This approach allows us to identify potential advantages or drawbacks inherent in the octagonal configuration, thereby providing valuable insights for optimizing SWS designs for high-frequency applications.
