This article highlights the complex theme of industrial areas, which, for a variety of reasons have been abandoned, something that has aroused the interest on the part of many disciplines. Here the Author outlines a strategy to regenerate and re-develop these areas, backed up by the sustainability of recovery interventions, eco-compatible technology and new materials.
