Abstract
The UNESCO Aeolian Islands site is capable of qualifying its development by investing in culture, landscape, beauty, and also quality tourism, which is undoubtedly a strategic asset, capable of producing civil and material wealth, developing quality and good employment management plans to provide the addresses, widely shared by local authorities, for the possible strategies of development of the site. Drafting the Plan of management of the Aeolian Islands represents the final product of the activity conducted and an indispensable tool for developing the territory consistent with its recognised naturalistic importance.
