Abstract

Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) is an established treatment for patients with severe aortic valve stenosis ineligible for surgery. Assessing computational modelling credibility is relevant for developing safe and reliable in-silico clinical trials for testing medical devices. The main goal of this work is to present a structural model of TAVI and follow the verification and validation activities suggested by ASME V&V40 standard.
