Abstract
The purpose of this study was two-fold. First, we aimed to quantify the biomechanical dissection properties of the nonaneurysmal and aneurysmal human ascending thoracic aorta using delamination testing methods. Our second aim was to assess structural protein fiber morphology in the BAV and TAV aneurysm tissue
