Proceso integrado de documentación, conocimiento y puesta en valor del patrimonio arquitectónico: El caso de la basílica de S. Francesco d’Assisi en Palermo

Abstract

The study of church architecture for its conservation is one of the research areas of the authors of this contribution. The project aims to create a fi le whose originality, compared to what has been produced so far, would reside in the unpublished collection of data relating to the history of the restorations, the identifi cation of the authentic material-constructive values, and the main pathologies encountered, in their restitution on exact surveys, and in the subsequent “networking” of the same, through the use of communication and fruition strategies, capable of attracting the greatest possible number of users, so as to contribute to their valorisation. With them we want to contribute to the ongoing digitization processes, thanks to the PNRR funding.
