Abstract
The volume collects and analyzes the collaborations of Manuel Vázquez Montalbán in the magazine Triunfo, from the opinion article, to the report, from the short story to the comic strip, focusing on the use of heteronomous words. Following the path of the genre, the style and the narrative perspectives of the different contributions, the fertile osmosis between literary discourse and journalistic discourse is thus verified. The weekly appeared in 1946 in Valencia, playing a role of theater and film information and criticism. Since its transfer to Madrid in 1948, the magazine expanded its interests, inserting articles on domestic and foreign policy, until, in the 1960s, it became the intellectual benchmark for anti-Franco Spain, collecting the signatures of the most important intellectuals. left incisors. In 1980 the periodicity became monthly until its last issue in August 1982. The Catalan intellectual began to collaborate with Triunfo in 1969, the year in which the famous five-issue report Crónica sentimental de España was published, and meanwhile the Vázquez Montalbán's writing acquires a particular physiognomy, in which the narrative and even poetic discourse is grafted onto the computerized fabric of the newspaper. In addition, his activity is accompanied by the creation of multiple heteronomous, with different narrative styles and perspectives. Thus, after "Jack the Decorator", created for the magazine Hogares Modernos, it is precisely in Triunfo where the signatures of "Luis Ávila", "Sixto Cámara", "Manolo V el Empecinado", "Luis Dávila", "Menelao el Aeropagita", "Baroness D'Orcy". Meanwhile, the osmotic function between the writing of the intellectual and the journalistic discourse linked to the macrotextuality of the magazine is becoming increasingly important.
