MARIA LIVIA OLIVETTI

Nuovi ritmi ed equilibri per i paesaggi urbani nell'epoca dell'aridità

Abstract

Circumstances and events, no longer exceptional, that affect the climate in which the landscape project finds itself operating today, oblige it to respond to the needs of territories (including those of cities, areas of agricultural production, infrastructures, and protected nature sites) that, destabilised, dazed, are no longer in that harmony now acquired with the needs that each season brings with it. The new rhythms alternating aridity and floods dictated by climate change are now the rule and are ruthless. And even more so, if we consider the European territory, to the extent that they act on places that have been culturally structured for centuries in the ways and forms of water management.
