A supplement for col. II of P Oxy II 302 and a few stylistic observations

Abstract

This article deals with a new proposal for supplementing lines 1-9 of column II of P Oxy II 302. The authorship of this papyrus fragment is controversial. The fragment - along with other two papyri, P Oxy XI 1365 and P Oxy XIII 1610 - was attributed either to Ephorus or to the Hellenica Oxyrhynchia. But a few stylistic observations lead us to ascribe P Oxy II 302 to the same author of P Oxy XI 1365 and the Hellenica Oxyrhynchia; while P Oxy XIII 1610 is to be considered as part of another work.
