Una nuova proposta di integrazione delle linee 6-7 del trattato di alleanza tra Atene e Chio del 384/383 a.C. (IG II2 34)

Abstract

This article presents a new supplement for lines 6-7 of the decree of alliance between Athens and Chios of 384/3 BC (IG II2 34). It offers a critical edition of the text, accompanied with an Italian translation and a historical commentary. Furthermore, the paper suggests a conjecture about the meaning of the relief sculpture on the top of the stele, which is only partially preserved.
