Abstract

The essay presents the complete edition of a letter from 1825 originating from the historical Sicilian-Albanian communities addressed to Tsar Alexander I. The document is stored at Vatican Apostolic Archive and in copy at Propaganda Fide Historical Archive. The petition, which includes an intervention request on political and religious matters related to the establishment of a greek rite Collegiate Church in Sicily, is preceded by an introduction that provides the context of its formation.
