Abstract

The essay begins by analyzing the recent changes in European data-economy laws. It argues that a new broad concept of data is emerging, including access obligations and portability rights in the regulatory framework. These elements contribute to developing a novel paradigm for data-sharing among businesses and a new relational conception of contractual autonomy within this field.
