Abstract

As it’s well know, the «architectures in the drawer», drawings that are in the archives and have not taken shape are real cultural gauge of their period. We can often find representations of projects in order to city spaces transformations, old town renovation plans and new urban environments. These projects, if realized, would have modified the city offering a new urban images. The digital model, when it’s between History and Representation, it’s the catalyst of the representation; it is the starting point for the construction of new images of ‘possible’ cities which we want. We have produced new images of Olivella quarter in Palermo, placed on the edge of old town (now has gone poor because of a level car park), which give us an idea about a winner project of a competition that it is remained in a drawer. Not melancholic images but informing of a project methods.
