Abstract

The need for theory is particularly necessary in our time, uncertain due to the crisis of foundations and knowledge for which architecture itself has become complex, full of contradictions, marked by infinite paths and sometimes unstable. The project cannot be entrusted to the contingencies of each case; creativity itself, daughter of intuition and chance, needs to be "worked" within the law, which is born from the mind and is built with logic so that the forms are appropriate and that everything is in the right place and to the extent. Especially in the Project Courses/Workshops of the first years, which constitute an "initiation" to the project, facing the theoretical moment is necessary to investigate the epistemological foundations of architecture.
