Abstract

The ancient bell tower of Messina was the protagonist of the glorious past of the city and represented its symbol. The contribution reconstructs the events of the ancient bell tower of the cathedral between the 16th and 17th centuries. The digital drawing reconstructs the main sixteenth-century reconfiguration interventions of the ancient medieval tower, definitively demolished in 1863.
