Abstract

This volume collects the pioneering service design and sustainability workshop conducted within the Master’s program in Communication at the University of Palermo. The collection opens with an insightful introduction by Dario Mangano, the coordinator of the Master’s course. It features a selection of four student-authored papers, complemented by four contributions from researchers, and culminates with Marzia Aricò's reflections on the future of service design education. This volume offers a comprehensive understanding of the evolving landscape of service design education and its significant role in promoting sustainable and ethical design practices.
