She is coordinator of 5 research projects: FIRB2010, EU Marie Curie Fellow 2011 and three regional projects in the field of POR FESR 2007/13. She is participant of n. 16 research projects.
The major research experience are in two main area of polymer engineering:
1. Nano- and Micro- composite polymer based systems relevant to industrial applications (packaging, tissue fibers, automotive, agro-industrial, etc.); engineering aspects of the complex systems, in terms of their formulation and processing, considering the effect of the shear and elongational flow on the morphology and on the mechanical and rheological properties. This topic is subject of main current personal researches.
2. Polymer recycling and upgrading properties and performances of second-life recyclates, e.g. post-consumer single and mixed multi-component heterogeneous plastics waste; this topic was the subject of both MSc and PhD studies and remain to be one of major areas of interest.
