Abstract

This lecture was recently given at the university of Palermo, as part of a PhD in the Recovery of Ancient Contexts and Innovation in Architecture and was subsequently written as a paper dealing with innovation seen as technical progress or material improvement, with reference to architecture and the specific technological sphere.
