Abstract
he essay analyses the theoretical evolution of the right to strike both in the Italian and European legal systems. Mainly, it focuses both on the doctrinal elaboration on the art. 40 Cost. and on classifications of the strike that frame that as an individual right of freedom. Yet, it studies the strike as a fundamental social right according to the Charter of Nice.
