Come un palcoscenico di luce : lo spettacolo dell’abitare negli interni di Nanda Vigo

Abstract

Three years after the death of Nanda Vigo, architect, designer and artist from Milan, the text recalls the interiors designed for art collectors such as Fedeli, Meneguzzo and Brindisi. The house is no longer just the place to live, but the place where the show of living takes place: the interiors become dramatic and adapt to work with the characters. It is no coincidence that some of these spaces – modulated on scenographic aspects such as monochrome and reflection – are the ideal sets for a certain art-house cinematography. The interest in the interior landscape, in the dialogue with the masterpieces, in the patron's (collectors) cultural milieu transforms the domestic environment into a chronotopic environment.
