The Grave (Oxford, Bodleian Library, Bodley 343, f. 170): una proposta d’analisi

Abstract

This paper (in Italian) discusses the history of the different editions of the short poem commonly called The Grave (J.J. Conybeare, B. Thorpe, A. Schröer, J.W. Conlee), the relationship between the text and other “Soul-and-Body” poems such as the Worcester Fragments and Latemest Day, and the very nature of the text, which has often been defined as a “fragment” by scholars.
