Abstract
After a brief introduction on the developments of Latin literature in Roman Africa and the problem of "africitas", this chapter traces a synthetic picture of Latin literature in Africa under the Vandalic domination (Vth-VIth century), in its relations with political and cultural history. The progress of Latin literature in Africa under the Vandals is examined with particular attention to "auctores" and their works. Among the most significant writers are Dracontius, Fulgentius, Corippus and the poets of the «Antologia Latina» (especially Luxorius).
