Abstract
A critical index of selected projects and biographical milestones of the sicilian architect Pasquale Culotta (Cefalù, July 30, 1939 - Lioni, November 9, 2006), graduated in architecture in 1965, ince 1986 he has been Full Professor of Architectural Design and Director of the Department of History and Project in Architecture of the Faculty of Architecture of Palermo since 1986 to 1989 and from 2001 to 2006. From 1989 to 1996 he was Dean of the Faculty of Architecture in Palermo and, since 2000, President of the Board of the Architecture Degree Course in Palermo. In 1987 he was called by the Milan Triennale for the formulation and scientific coordination of projects on " L’architettura della Circonvallazione di Palermo" for the XVII Triennale. In 1988 he was scientific coordinator of the projects for the 1991 National Exhibition in Palermo on the theme " Le attività umane nel Mediterraneo". Academician of San Luca, since 2000 he has founded and directed the Degree Laboratory on Architecture for the Liturgy in the Specialized Degree Course of the Faculty of Architecture in Palermo. He was a member of the Management Committee of the journals «Area» and «Parametro».
