Abstract

The text largely develops on the basis of the transcription and contextualisation of notes from some lessons by Pasquale Culotta. In findings of various kinds, there are also traces of what has not been experienced personally but known for belonging to a specific cultural environment and therefore useful for the purposes of description. The times of the writing concern the fifteen years of knowing Culotta, against the broader background of his professional and teaching life. These times inevitably intertwine, since a man's experiences, even when specifically concluded, do not end but continue, as he loved to repeat, to produce effects and influences, quoting the metaphor of the circles generated on the surface when a stone is thrown into the pond water.
