Monitoring management and implementation of wireless network infrastructure.

ACTIVITIES

  • Monitoring management and implementation of wireless network infrastructure.
  • Management of Authorization and Accounting Authentication processes, related to the accreditation of University Users and Guests (Conferences, Congresses, Events - Maintenance Companies)
  • Server management for user authentication
  • Management of access logs, consistent with what is indicated by Legislative Decree 196/2003 and s.m.i.
  • Support to users for problems related to the configuration of wifi devices (pc - smartphone)
  • Management of Eduroam circuit’s wireless connectivity in collaboration with GARR. This service allows users on the move in other organizations to easily and securely access the wireless network using the same credentials provided by their organization
  • Management of backup and restore procedures for virtualized servers and network equipment
  • Support to Ads and Users, also through specific guides
  • Coordination of its IT activities in line with the CAD (Digital Administration Code) D. Lgs. 82/2005 and s.m.i. (D.Lgs 179/2016), with the D.Lgs. 196/2003 and s.m.i., with the Agid (Agency for Digital Italy) and with the ministerial and European directives of competence. 

RECIPIENTS

The service is intended for the Teaching Staff, TAB Staff of the University and Guest Users entitled (Conferences, Congresses, Events, External Soc. ) through a specific request submitted by the Authorized Staff.
